Florida's 20th Judicial Circuit covers Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Glades and Hendry counties — the entire southwest corner of the state. The firm practices within it and does not maintain satellite offices or out-of-circuit partners.
Naples — county seat
The firm's home county and the source of most of its work. Matters are filed at the Collier County Courthouse in the Government Complex on Tamiami Trail East, covering Naples, Marco Island, Immokalee, Golden Gate and Everglades City.
Fort Myers
The largest county in the circuit by population. Regularly appearing in Fort Myers for civil matters involving parties in Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Estero, Sanibel and Lehigh Acres.
Punta Gorda
Civil and contract disputes for parties in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Englewood, filed at the Charlotte County Justice Center.
LaBelle
Rural inland matters, frequently involving land, agricultural contracts and property boundaries, heard in LaBelle and Clewiston.
Moore Haven
The smallest county in the circuit. Matters here are infrequent but accepted on the same terms as anywhere else in the 20th.
Florida Bar admission is statewide, so representation outside the 20th Circuit is possible in principle. In practice, a matter venued in Miami-Dade, Hillsborough or the Panhandle is usually better served by counsel who appears in front of that bench regularly. Submit it anyway and you will get a straight answer about whether taking it would serve you.
